Rustic Black Bean Soup with Raw Hemp Sour Cream…and yummy new treats! November 13, 2012

Good afternoon! I hope you are enjoying this crisp and beautiful day!

We have lots of special goodies today…
We have a Rustic Black Bean Soup, served with a Raw Hemp Seed Sour Cream and Millet Bread, Sprouted Grain Waffles topped with Spiced Apples, and our burger is a Sprouted Chickpea Burger.

Of course, as always, we also have the Hummus Pizza,  sautes, Red Lentil Coconut Curry, Kitchari, Raw Pizza, and more!

Sidney has been busy playing around in the kitchen, so we’ve got some special pastries too…

Cashew Cream Cheese or Strawberry Cream Cheese Croissants, Blueberry Apple Pop Tarts, Chocolate Raspberry Scones, and Strawberry Jam-Filled Apple Quinoa Muffins…It’s worth a trip in and don’t forget, the kitchen is open until 6pm!

Good morning, Boulder!

In case you haven’t headed for the hills to make use of all this snow, stop in for breakfast, lunch, or a treat! Or, come grab dinner so you can enjoy a leisurely day…

By the way, to settle the confusion, our kitchen is gluten free and everything is vegan, unless otherwise requested. And we do cakes! Will post some better pics soon, but the one below will give you the idea…

Special for today:

Sprouted buckwheat and millet crepes stuffed with apples and topped with raspberry sauce and almond cream.

Today’s Sauté:

Lemony lentil homefries; with kale, cabbage, carrots, and a lemon-ginger-caramelized onion sauce

Scone of the day: Raspberry-fig

Muffin of the day: Blueberry-lemon

Plus, while it’s slow here, we are experimenting with cinnamon rolls…

And, of course we’ve got yummy kitchari, veggie pancakes, red lentil coconut curry, and more! The grab and go case is filling up with soups, dips, grain salads, and Dinner by the Numbers!
