Hello my friends! I hope you are staying warm on this chilly evening. I, for one, appreciate the moisture and Winter weather, but my body has become a bit spoiled by the warm Winter. I find myself hibernating.
I’ve posted the menu for this week and I plan to keep the staples consistent from week to week. I want to make sure I’m complying with the Cottage Food Act and also simplify things as I adjust to my new space, do more work on my cookbook, and set up some cooking classes. I do also want to be able to incorporate things like kitchari and soups, veggie pancakes and veggie bowls, sauces, dosas and that sort of special on rotation, but I need to find someone who can give me some advice on how i can do that legally. Perhaps a private membership by donation rather than payment, or something like that…If you know someone in the know who could help me with that, please direct me to them or vice versa.
In the meantime, there is plenty of yummy stuff to choose from here, And that includes quiche, cashew cream cheese and of course the usual sweet and savory baked goods and treats, in addition to some freezer staples that I consider to be “meal-starters”, things that give you a foundation to which you can add your own cooked veggies and flare. I am thinking about doing a class demonstrating the use of the meal starters, so let me know if you would be interested in that.
I will do the soaking Monday, so please get orders in by end of day Sunday and they will continue to be ready by 4pm Wednesdays. If you are going to pick up another day after Wednesday, please do let me know so i can keep your food in optimal storage until you are ready for it.
Have a fantastic weekend!
