Good evening my friends!

The menu for next week has been posted. If all goes according to plan, a new shipment of mung dahl should be FINALLY delivered tomorrow, so that means we are back in action with quiche and mung dahl veggie pancakes. Woohoo! Red lentil pancakes will be available again too:) You can check out the full menu here. Please email your orders by MONDAY AT NOON to juliahellerman@gmail.com for pick up Wednesday 4pm-7pm and Thursday noon-3pm.

**NOTE: REPLIES TO THIS EMAIL ARE GETTING LOST. PLEASE EMAIL ORDERS TO JULIAHELLERMAN@GMAIL.COM instead of replying to this email.**

There are some extras this week, so come on in tomorrow between noon and 3pm to pick up some soup from the grab and go for home, or stop in for lunch between 12:30-2:30 for a nourishing bowl of soup and a millet cake or toasted bun. The muffins and cake sold today, but I'll post on social media if I get a chance to bake something new for tomorrow. Otherwise, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with a raw fig bar, carob mint drop, or strawberry-nectarine macaroon!

Have a fabulous night!

Menu for this week: order by Monday 8/21 noon and pick up Wednesday 4-7, Thursday noon-3 August 20, 2017

Filed under: Uncategorized — adaba @ 2:45 pm

Good morning and a very happy Sunday!

The menu for this week is here. Please email your order to juliahellerman@gmail.com by Monday (that’s tomorrow!) at noon. Pick up options for this week at Wednesday 4-6:30 and Thursday noon-3.

I suggest getting your orders in today, as most people will be distracted in some way by the eclipse!

Please note that there are several items that are still unavailable for this week. I want to take advantage of the abundance of seasonal produce that’s available and take the opportunity to take a break from a few ingredients that I use year round.

Enjoy your day and week!

Julia

Order reminder! Orders are due today at noon for pick up Wednesday 4-7 and Thursday noon-3. August 7, 2017

Here is a sneak peak at the macaroons just out of the dehydrator, made from local strawberries. These contain cashews and, of course coconut, and are solely fruit-sweetened.

Kitchari is on for this week as well, in case you need something to keep you warm. And, remember that cake last week? I'm going to have another one for YOU available while it lasts starting Wednesday at pick up time!

Have a great week; get your rain gear out and enjoy a peaceful wet day!

Menu for pick up Wed Aug 9th, Thurs Aug 10th; orders due Monday at noon August 4, 2017

Filed under: Uncategorized — adaba @ 5:37 am

Good evening! The menu for next week is up and you can view it here. Please order by Monday at noon for pick up Wednesday 4-7 and Thursday noon-3. Please email your order to juliahellerman@gmail.com with the subject PREORDER – your name.

You can expect to receive a confirmation email from me by Sunday evening if you place your order over the weekend or before, or Monday evening if you order late Sunday or Monday morning. If you do not receive a confirmation, please let me know so I can be sure I don't miss your order!

A note on salt: because the taste of salt diminishes over time, salt palates vary widely, everyone has salt at home, and it can be added but not taken away, I generally use the minimum amount of salt required to make sure food flavors are properly balanced. Always taste your food before adding salt, but don't be surprised if you find a bit more needs to be added, especially to things like soup.

Have an excellent Friday and a fabulous weekend!

Peace, Julia
