March 22-23 pre-order menu and spring break closure reminder… March 18, 2017

Filed under: Uncategorized — adaba @ 3:57 am

Hello and welcome to another gorgeous weekend! It’s time to place orders for next week and I want to remind you that Julia’s Kitchen will be closed the following week (march 27-31). You will receive a menu for the first week of April by Saturday April 1st.

All this green for St. Patrick’s Day got me in the mood for pesto, so you’ll see both the raw and the sausage pizza on the rotating menu for next week, plus a yummy lentil soup, sprouted quinoa chickpea tabouli, and the delicious pear-spice raw cereal. Yum! And all of the regulars, of course…see the whole menu here.

Please get your orders for next week in by Monday at noon. The sooner the better, especially for the pizzas as availability for a couple menu items will be limited.

Enjoy a beautiful weekend!

Julia’s Kitchen Weekly Menu March 5, 2017

Filed under: Uncategorized — adaba @ 4:29 pm

img_0742Good morning to you all, and happy Sunday! I hope you’ll be able to get outside to enjoy this glorious weather!

Based on feedback from last week, I’m adding a little more structure to the pre-ordering menu system. In future weeks, I’ll have a menu out by the end of the week (generally Thursday) and take orders through Monday at noon for pick up Wednesday and Thursday (or as arranged). This week I am running a little late, but here is the menu! You’ll notice there is a weekly rotating menu, as well as a menu of “staples” that will be more or less the same week after week, which includes some of our favorites like veggie pancakes and burgers, plus batters to make things yourself, sauces to use as you wish, and bakery yummies. You are invited to make requests for dishes/items you would love to see on the menu in the following weeks.

Also, please note that not everything on the pre-order menu, including the regular staples, will be on the daily lunch menu all the time. If there is something you want, asking ahead is a great idea and highly effective! Otherwise, it’s chef’s choice!

The link to the menu is here and for this week, I’m also copying it into this email. Please let me know if you have questions; I’ll keep working on the system and menu to make sure it’s clear and as easy as possible!

Also remember we’ll be closing for BVSD Spring Break, so March 28-31; lucky this pre-order situation is available!
